Checking out at Sprouts the other day I made mention of the fact that money doesn't seem to last very long. The checker said not to worry. His grandpa, who had lived during the Depression, said that you shouldn't worry about money because as long as you were on the right side of the dirt, you could always make more. I like that! It's true, too.
I have not done well with the finances as of late and I will change that. In an effort to make better choices, I read an article in the January 2015 edition of Success magazine by Suze Orman who writes a regular column there. This month what she wrote really resonated with me. "If you're worried about your financial future, the first step toward a new sense of your own power is to know exactly what you're afraid of." Afraid of? Well, I had to ponder that awhile! She challenged us to write that fear down and then create a new truth. "Make it exactly opposite of your greatest fear." Hmmmmm.....once I realized that my fear was totally irrational, it was easy to create a new truth.
What about you? Are your financial fears holding you back from the abundance the Lord has for you?
